bigWebApps is a fast growing applications and business systems developer based in Atlanta , GA , US .  We are launching an initiative to completely redesign our corporate image. We will be performing a top to bottom rework of our corporate logos, websites, and print materials. We are looking for high energy, highly motivated talent, who has the passion to win, and are excited by the opportunity to be a part of a high growth  and forward thinking organization.  Our flagship product www.bigwebdesk.com will be one of the projects for this position.

Position:

bigWebApps is seeking multiple strong and passionate graphic artists. A qualified candidate will be creative and able to work well in a team environment. He/she will handle multiple and varied projects at the same time, be deadline and detail-oriented, and be an excellent visual communicator. He/she must be able to work with minimal direct supervision to initiate creative activity and not get easily frustrated by change.  His/Her objective will be to create the design foundation of bigWebApps and how the look and feel will be uniformly branded through all aspects of the company.

Specific duties include:

Requirements:

1.     Part-Time availability. 10+ hours per week.

2.     Reliable internet access

3.     Adobe line of graphic design products

4.     Demonstrated visual communication and creative design skills

5.     2-3 years of graphic design experience

6.     Experience developing design concepts for business-to-business product marketing is preferred.

Required Talents & Skills:

1.     Outstanding design skills. 

2.     Written English skills

3.     Experience with Adobe line of PC based graphics suite.

4.     PC based software experience.

5.     Ability to conceptualize and communicate both visually and in writing

6.     Strong attention to detail

7.     Excellent organizational skills

8.     Ability to meet established deadlines to produce assigned design projects within budget

Bonuses

1.     Experience with Flash is a plus

Responsibilities

1.     Web Site Redesign

2.     Create and update color palettes

3.     Create and refine current logos

4.     Develop and maintain literature and packaging samples, including control of multiple versions

5.     Review final layouts; suggest improvements, and present final layouts for approval

6.     Work with Sales and Customer Service to provide product images as needed for Sales’ promotional programs

7.     Choose specific size, color, images, typeface, and style to achieve goals

8.     Make recommendations for paper and printing specifications.

9.     Organize files, mailing list and photography

10.  Contribute as required to the design and production of marketing projects, including direct mail, brochures, sales aids, print ads, promotional items, product logos and packaging, and tradeshow displays.
